​Lifting and pumping stations for handling sewage and wastewater from areas below the sewer level must be robust and versatile to ensure reliable and trouble-free operation. Pump stations can be supplied complete with collection chamber, internal pipework, valves and level controls. 

​Pumping stations in water and wastewater systems are necessary where water is pumped directly into the system or where pressure must be increased because there is an insufficient difference in water levels in gravity flow distribution systems. 

The most expensive part is energy supply for pumps, which is usually electrical and therefore Shtang ensures pumps and entire systems are designed and built to have a high degree of efficiency and are maintained properly.
